Submit Photos

If you are going to be at Jamboree with a digital camera then you can submit photos to us for inclusion in the NSW Contingent photo albums. All you have to do is drop off your photos (on CD) to the contingent HQ. We will upload the photos and return the CD to you. (I have checked with the  on-site Kodak shop and they are providing a service copying memory cards to CD.) We do not recommend you leave memory cards with us as they are both small and fragile.
 

Conditions

  1.  By giving us a copy of your photographs you agree to assign Scouts Australia joint copyright. This means that Scouts Australia may freely use your photographs for promotional and other purposes. Photographs may be used without credit being given. So if you want to keep full control of your photographs do not give them to us.
  2. The NSW Contingent PR team webmaster will have sole discretion as to which, if any, photographs are uploaded to the contingent photo albums.
  3. No guarantees are given as to the timeliness of photo uploads. We will endeavour to copy the photos and return the CD to you within a day. However the actual processing of the photos will take longer. It is possible that not all photos will be uploaded while Jamboree is in progress. However we do undertake to upload them as soon after Jamboree as is practical.
  4. No responsibility will be taken for CDs, memory cards, USB thumb drives or any other media or material given to the contingent. In the busy and sometimes disorganised world of Jamboree things can be mislaid or forgotten. We suggest that you retain a copy of anything you give to us. (A good idea anyway for something as valuable as Jamboree memories.)

How It Works

  • Make a copy of your photographs on CD.
  • Clearly label the CD with your name, troop and patrol (if photos are of a single patrol).
  • Drop the CD into the Contingent HQ marked Attention: PR Team Webmaster.
  • Check back a day or so later and your CD should be ready to pick up.
  • Rush down to the Internet cafe and see your photos on the web.
